19th November 2023... thanksgiving cactus and gardening

Bought this orange cactus in lidls some years ago....been outside all summer and now flowering prolifically.😁

Cutting back the hedge.

It might be difficult to see, but there is a large amount of hornets buzzing around a hole in this oak tree....zoom in to see...it's a mixture of European and Asian hornets and not quite sure what's happening!

On the roof Karl is removing tiles and cutting the hole for the velux

Our crop from one of our sweet potatoes! 

The little ones I put back in the ground, as well as the plant itself......in future I will get the sweet potatos out without digging up the entire plant.... hopefully!
