Buster and Dave...

Hob installation cont.....

Taking it back out.

Sticking the band of tape around to glue it to the worksurface.

Pressing the hob into place 😱 Dave said it was very strong glue !

Cooking our first stir fry...most of our pans work, and we'll buy an adaptor plate for those that don't!

The blue you can see under the pan, is a piece of silicon to stop the pan sliding around...

I hope my cleaner is impressed!

We decided to swap our gas hob for a swanky induction hob...

Firstly the gas one was getting a bit temperamental and secondly it was a nightmare to clean....so as no holiday this year...we splashed out!

Here are the pictures of the installation.

Firstly install the new electric supply in the cave....easy right?🥴

Remove old gas hob....oooh too quick Dave I hadn't got the camera ready!

Next drop in new hob....simple.

Well it warmed up soup!

What I didnt know was it wasn't actually attached, and there was more to do in the morrow.

21st and 22nd October 2020

Ever since we had 23 cats abandoned in the village we have expected a charity to pick them up.

It hasn't happened, so together Dave and Nicco have acquired 3 traps to trap the cats to take them to be sterilised.

We first took our kitten Buster (Who didn't need the trap).

Then we trapped a tabby who was very tame, she had the op, unfortunately the vet said, this cat has already been sterilised! So the poor cat went through two ops for the same thing.....her she is recovering in our veranda

The second one we trapped..... Dave thought was her again, until he approached the cage and the monster (called Rambo by the vet) flung itself full force at the cage end, trying to attack Dave.

The cage which weighs 5kg moved 15cm !

The cat cut its nose in trying to attack us.

We both doned thick gloves and went to the vets, leaving it in the trap!

I said, if it escapes from the trap en route we abandon the car with doors open!😱😱😸

We now believe this is/was the alpha male .

It was brought back for release a good way away from us!

There are roughly 9 to catch, Nicco has caught one, another large male.

So 5 to go, which includes our pregnant female, and one which has a broken paw.😭

So now the tiles are clean, the wind is very strong today, therefore the tiles are dry..... Dave decided to go ahead with putting on the sealing product.
