12th December 2018 Preparation for the wall.

Lucky for us, a guy in the village has this small digger, he is away soon for Christmas, but came over for an afternoon to level the base, although it was not bad, it was sloping away from the barn/field and we wanted it to slope towards the barn/field .....Also note the few Heathers on the bank, and what you cant see is loads of Irises on the bank too...i will try to remember to take pictures in spring...

Unfortunately both Dave and I failed to film the digger driver break the concrete water tank with his "Marteaupiqueur" ( an pneumatic hammer attachment for the digger ) so this is just after it is broken up!
















































I hope these all work, they have taken for ever to upload !

Tuesday 23rd October (Daves 60th birthday!)

Digger man arrives at 8.30......


Work begins on removing the old water tank.

The tyres from the truck have sunk in a bit....but he did level them all out before he went !

Monday 22nd October

Terrific, deadly storms in our area, for the last week or so, stopped the work here for 11 days.

 I will start with some pictures of the flood waters in the valley olargues and St Ettienne d'Albagnan and then move on to the work at Cailho.
