30th June 2019

How the garden grows!🌿🥦🌿

Here in France we have had record breaking temperatures 45.9°C being recorded as the hottest on record in the whole of France ever! 🔥🔥🔥We on the mountain had 38°C last Friday (27th) which means after our dry winter we are only allowed to water 💦💦💦after 8pm and before 8am. Consequently we are staying inside most of the day, and when watering is done around 10pm, we are so tired, shower and bed.
Temps are due to go down with a possibility of thunderstorm ⛈️tomorrow, but not much rain forecast.

Here is the garden today.

Sweet corn, pumpkins and climbing beans.

Dave watering tomatoes

Aubergines

More beans and spinach, and Dave watering tomatoes (this is about 9pm.)

Peppers and chillis
The boxes are small sunshades for our recently planted purple sprouting broccoli🥦

Hoping for rain soon☔☔☔
