Daves birthday and we took Carla with us to Le Moulin.

This table (in the restaurant) was Dave's grandmother's that we sold to them last week....nice to be able to still sit at it !

Cat found wedged in tree stump.....

Fat chance...he escaped!

Zigzag cactus in flower again, heady honey scent fills the verandah as the flower opens at night.

I grew these egg plants from seed, waited and waited for them to reach a decent size....but they never did !

Replacement table and chairs, much lighter, easier access for moi....and the room looks more spacious!

We also bought a carpet at Emmaus...maybe too good for catching burning ashes?

Only cost 15euros, but I think its wool....
