1st September 2023...Moorish gecko?

We thought we saw a gecko earlier in the year, but this one was close enough to photograph.

To give you some idea of size, here it is

in the veranda.

1st September 2023...the bedroom ceiling saga continues!

We have bought some "Papier paint" it's a woven fibre glass sheeting, applied to walls and ceilings which you can paint.....this will cover up any lumps and bumps of plaster!

Here is Dave applying the glue to the ceiling...yes it is pink, it goes white as it dries...

30th August 2023...The mosquito 🦟 trap.

We finally bought the mosquito trap.

Only thing is ...it makes quite a bit of noise!!

But it sure catches the tiger mosquito 🦟🦟🦟 which is what we want it to do 😁

27th August 2023...now that's a bridge!

Just trying to leave Montpellier and took a wrong turn (sound familiar Mike?) This is when Dave screeched to a halt....2.5 height on this one!😱😱😱

A bridge that looked interesting, but lead to a bridge only 2.8 meters high... Dave wasn't willing to risk it!

The city of chocolate, Valrhona..just before leaving Tain , luckily they were open on Sunday this time of year.

Must have been a rally for old trucks as we saw this many...and more.
