I had halloumi burger, Dave had cheese burger and Ann had a tuna burger, Ann and I asked for ours without bun (as there was chips and salad too)

No worries...very laid back, tropical feel ..smiles from all the staff... especially from the one who helped my drunk sister in law when she fell down the step (she wasn't really drunk!)

19th June 2026...... Tortoise valley

Another of our favourite places here, they have everything from Giant Galapagos Tortoise to tiny snack size ones!

18th June 2026... Collioure

We had a trip to Spain, just 38 mins from base camp....

Only to top up on aloe vera, non alcoholic gin and bandeleros!

On our way back, we went wrong and ended up looking over Collioure..and took these pictures.

We have done this visit before and its always been good.

Only a few minutes drive away, from Argelès..... recently extended to include outside space, which has been sympathetically transformed into wild meadows and gardens for butterflies primarily and people secondly.

16th June 2026...La Sardane Campsite

15th June 2026....Anns visit, Argelès sur Mer.

We pick up Ann from Béziers airport and go for a quick bite, before heading off for Argelès sur Mer.

Greeted by the wild animals and other paraphernalia in our campsite.

About 34⁰C but a good sea breeze....

La Sardane is not as central as others we've stayed in, but has many water features, and a restaurant.

Margaret my youngest sister and her man Robert came to visit. 

They are staying with us for 3 days and in Carcassonne for the rest of their week here.
