22nd September 2026.... finish of the 2all plastering.

After a long wait, our "good but hard to pin down to a date" builder came to finish the plastering.

It looks fantastic.

He had some plaster left, so he finished off the side door surround too...

20th September 2026...cleaning chimney and fire.

13th September 2026... Frédéric's birthday

We get invited to Dausse to celebrate frédéric's birthday.

It was on the 10th really but today is Sunday.

Us , Philip and Laetitia, and a German couple Wolfgang and Marianna (?) enjoy a pleasant meal and company...but the stunning thing is the inside of the house has been SANDBLASTED Gone is all the lackened ceilings, walls and beams are now clean,  Philip has installed water, hot and cold! The kitchen has been sandblasted too a new, kitchen has been installed and a DISHWASHER 😱😱😱

12th September 2026...plants

Another 6 weeks with very little rain, fortunately we still have stored rain water from the last storm.

9th September 2026... Charlie

Charlie has been fighting again, we treat him with the honey and lavender cream the vet used last time..and when we can get it on him...it certainly works!

5th September 2026...Indian lilac in full bloom....

Badgers have been digging up the garden, this is the terrace plant....

The indian lilac that I cut back hard earlier this year, and thought I'd killed!

In full bloom, the insects love it.
