6th October 2026... Dubrovnik part 1

Dave sporting the MSC dressing gown serving me breakfast, which has just been delivered to our door!

We climb on a rather weary looking hop on hop off bus, and across the street is this pimped up tuk tuk...with our ship in the background.

This bridge was only built in 2024...it seems to be the destination of all the tours.

Futher along the coast we get a good look at Dubrovnik our host city today.

We eat at the Soul Food Restaurant 

A vegan thai curry.

Which was fine until I discovered the yoghurt wasn't vegan....an email was written and a very profuse apologie was returned.

Oh! Yes.....lemon tart!

6th October 2026... Dubrovnik part 2

5th October 2026...on board and a day at sea

I'm not absolutely sure which day or meal this was.... Tuesday 5th I think... anyway it was spinach, quinoa and potato burger with avocado sauce.

We have changed meal times, on Sunday, we were on a table of 8 Spanish speakers, and couldn't join in at all, also that service starts at 9pm (or later) I was awake several times during the night!

 So we asked, and they changed us to the earlier service, 6.45pm which is much better, and although its now just two of us on a table convenient for wheelchair storage...its a bit billy no mates!

4th October 2026...Cruise day 1

Move out of no 427 and catch campsite bus into Venice, where we walk to the bus which takes us back to Marghera where the cruise ships are now allowed to dock. Too much damage is being done to Venice, and hugh cruise ships didn't help.

So here she is MSC Armonia.

We are on level 9.

Room number 9009.

We selected this number as its easy to remember. 

Not realising its totally at the bow, and furthest away from the restaurants, theatre, and most entertainment!!

Still its quiet....

3rd October 2026 ... Onsite restaurant

A day of packing for us... getting ready for the cruise.

Lunchtime I managed to get chef to replace the feta cheese for some red beans in my salad bowl at lunchtime.

Back to a vegan pizza, not on their new autumn menu!

Again a word in chef's ear.

2nd October 2026... Murano and Burano (part 1)

We decide to visit both these islands today as its a fine weather day again . Also you have to go to Murano to get to Burano.

On line 3 to Murano, a different route.

Out in the open sea !

In the Murano glass museum..free again and so attentive too.

Both delish.

Some very clean pigeons live here...
