18th September 2019

Sorry for the repetition of yet more veg... but this is just todays haul before a possible (🤞🤞🤞) thunder storm.
Dave has fetched sand from the quarry and more interesting activities will resume shortly😁

8th September 2019

We went out for the day. 

In the village we visited there was
this wall.. Yes this is a painted wall, the lowest of the roofs is also just paint. All the shops in the arches, just paint. 


Gurty sulking in the car park. 




This field system is just outside Beziers its called the Oppidum. 
Its roman 500 BC .


These concrete bunkers were for storage of grain. 


We had a lovely day out. The drought is terrible, and what you can't see in the distance is smoke, two days ago there were 54 fires in our department.

Still no substantial rain.... We've had thunder all around, but only the briefest of showers. 













These are butterfly bushes i grew from cuttings, they are in the new hedge.
