8th July 2023...Garlic harvest.
I didn't really plant garlic to eat, it is a crop I put all around the garden to deter the aphids...but this year the bonus is, nice fat bulbs of garlic too!
I use my quick peel method and soon have enough for 4 jars of pickled garlics.

3rd July 2023...More fibre installation! Not into houses yet!
Two guys arrive, and put the fibre between our pole and the one at "phalipou's" across our garden.
If you zoom in, you can see the men, one up the pole, one having a fag at the bottom of the ladder.

2nd July 2023... progress on the ceiling. Roses. Karl's new car.
The little roses rescued from Lidl (8 in a pot) several years ago, were planted in the vegetable garden "round "bed.
This year they have produced bouquets of roses 🌹 I counted this stem it had 35 blooms on it!
Just one stem...and they are all like this, this year.

1st July 2023 Dave stripping out the bedroom ceiling.wasps nest.. monthly picture.charlie.
We are changing the insulation levels in all our ceilings. Dave started with the spare bedroom and this is how far he's got!
As a temporary measure the bathroom downstairs is now a walk in wardrobe!
One of two nests found...so far.. probably a wasp of some sort, it is so soft, like tissue paper.
