30th and 31st March 2022

Gurty is sold!

We had a mass of enquiries and chose this couple as they were so sure they wanted her.

The story is, Lily the new owner, has been looking for this very camping car for 6 years, since the one she had before was exactly the same, unfortunately she left it in a barn whilst holidaying in South America and the barn was struck by lightning and all was destroyed ☹️

They arrived in the afternoon and after giving the once over, and driving her up and down the mountain....it was too late to go for the money...So they stayed overnight in the camper..

Filling up before the journey to Limoux.

Victor, who drove her home .

It will be Lilys camper pictured here with her dog Pepperoni...but due to a slight banking problem., (she actually couldn't get the money out of the PO as she was not in her area). She left her copine Victor here to drive Gurty home when her money cleared.
So she drove home to Limoux , sorted out the money, sent us a picture of the paperwork from the PO.
So we gave Victor the keys.

Very nice couple, we hope to see them and Gurty in Limoux someday😁!

The time has come to sell our old campingcar.
"Gurty" is a 1981 Ford transit, and after 6 years of ownership we decided we needed something a little bit faster.
These are her promo photos.

We finally get around to pruning the olives.

This is the one we nearly lost to frost in February several years ago.

We have two terrified cats...and one intruder... could it be Busters dad/brother/sister?
