19th July 2025...Nytech, Chew Magna

1979, I got a job working for a company called Nytech in Chew Magna. Where I met a very charming, serious young man.
Who much later in 2008, I married, in France.

I took this picture of the Nytech building, as we whooshed passed, much like he whooshed passed me in 1979.

Whoosh.whoosh! 🥰

13th July 2025.... mushroom, Chicken of the woods.

Ever since we moved here, we've been keen on hunting the mushrooms....
This particular one eluded us for ever!
We found it in very old examples, and even tried to eat those, 😂.
This one was found by Karl, not up a tree, but growing on the forest floor... probably on an old tree stump.
At last I get my hands on,

"Chicken of the Woods."
As we were just about to leave door UK this was frozen.

12th July 2025...RAIN and Chicken of the woods!

At last a good drop of the wet stuff💦💦💦💦

A few days later...
Karl finds this beautiful chicken of the woods mushroom....
Unfortunately had to freeze it as we are now off to UK for a week.
