28th April 2025...Hexigranny cardigan crochet 🧶

My new project is crochet, this is Hexicardigan....not difficult at all.

Here I am 'blocking' the cardigan......steaming whilst cardigan is pinned in place.

This was taken before the blocking.

26th April 2025.... garden and Dave's hand

Dave had trigger finger, and had it operated on yesterday.

The dressing will be changed every 2 days for 2 weeks.

25th April 2025... Dave's op day...all well.

A day later 26 April

24th April 2025.... Eating out, and a solar powered bike.

Dave due to have a hand op tomorrow, so we went to Au Bureau in the polygone.....super fish 'n' chips and veggie food for me, in a English pub type setting.

A recumbent, tandem, back to back, Solar paneled, BIKE!

🍒 forming on the tree which really should be dead!

It's trunk is bandaged to keep it from snapping, but still it survives 👍🏼

Wisteria 

20th April 2025... wisteria/glycine nature

A busy narrow waisted wasp on clover.

Odd fungi, which form a red or yellow cage, and catch flies.

Wisteria starting to flower.

14th April 2025...apple blossom, rain.

Oh yes...it rained...all tanks full again...a full 15000 litres safely stored.

11th April 2025...pool....

We are forecast some wet weather so Dave decided to empty our saved rainwater tanks into the pool...7000 litres and collect fresh for the tanks...🤞🏼🙏🏼

10th April 2025....apple blossom and irises

5th April 2025... asparagus 😎

We have decided to plant less labour intensive plants this year...after the abysmal crops last year.

So asparagus and sweet potato 🍠 were chosen.

Our first attempt, sand added to the soil, and after some slug damage grit all around!

The slugs got the first harvest....grrrrrrr😭

4th April 2025....house and cat walks

Due to my need to keep my back fit, it has become a routine to walk up the road around 4pm....the cats join us most days when we call out..WALKIES!
