21st November 2025...The Wall Begins

Pictures are definitely not in the right order 😱😂🤣

Dave and I have employed a builder to build the wall from the archway and into the garden (left hand side)

With Dave doing quarry runs and generally NOT the heavy stuff 🙏

They did use the small digger, but found it almost as easy by hand.

Boys and their chairs!

A slight upgrade!

We bought a box to go between the chairs, Dave varnished it, put it on casters, reinforced the base. Not pictured is the tray we bought which we put our junk on, so we can lift off to access the box !

3rd November 2025...moon & avocados

When my delivery of avocados arrived, they were badly damaged, so I got a refund, then we made guacamole with the good bits, and froze it !

We are swapping our winter/summer clothes, but Buster must think we are holiday packing, so he's coming too.😂🤣😂

For Dave's special meal, we went to Auberge de Mauroul, we had the most fantastique meal and fabulous scenery!

23rd October 2025...Dave's Birthday

For Dave's Birthday we went to a new restaurant in Herepian, Thai with lots of promise... unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations, but we had excellent company with Alison and Richard.

En route I took these pictures, as this was forecast as a hurricane day! 

It was a bit breezy..

All the rainbows (and there were plenty) were really low to the ground.

Difficult to see..👀 👀.

This cactus only flowers once a year, this year only one flower, which opens at night, and smells like honey.
