The greenhouse tiling update.

Dave had to cut every tile!

Daves birthday and we took Carla with us to Le Moulin.

This table (in the restaurant) was Dave's grandmother's that we sold to them last week....nice to be able to still sit at it !

Cat found wedged in tree stump.....

Fat chance...he escaped!

Zigzag cactus in flower again, heady honey scent fills the verandah as the flower opens at night.

I grew these egg plants from seed, waited and waited for them to reach a decent size....but they never did !

Replacement table and chairs, much lighter, easier access for moi....and the room looks more spacious!

We also bought a carpet at Emmaus...maybe too good for catching burning ashes?

Only cost 15euros, but I think its wool....

Dave is making a piano!

Actually it's staging for the new greenhouse...

After doing all this, he took it out to TILE the floor...Proper Job!

We say goodbye to an old friend, Dave's grandmother's table and six chairs, which we now find is too big and too dark.

Sold to a good friend who is using it in her restaurant, so when we go to her restaurant, guess where she will seat us....!😁

After checking all the greenhouse pieces, we find we have 4 missing and 4 extras!

Dave contacts the company and they send another box of bits, so finally the construction can go ahead.

Dave wanted to wait for a non windy day/days and put it up, before the original (now swapped) box gets returned, so he is certain we have everything.

So here it is, the two day construction.
