On our way home we picked up shopping at Lidl of course.

By the checkout there is sometimes a pile of boxes, full of vegetables which are going to be binned......there was a whole tray of tomatoes....and these trays are 1€ !

A no brainer.,🤣😂🤣🙏🙏🙏

These needed a little attention 

And these were perfect...plus a pepper!

All this for a euro!

Tom Soup and chopped tomatoes in the freezer by the evening!

27th May 2024...Hobbit Holes!

If you've ever wondered what the inside of a Hobbit Hole looks like......

We were lucky to be at Luckington, Newbury, Coleford, where Mark helped build and still maintains the Hobbit Holes .

It was change over day, so when the guests left, we had a look inside!

26th May 2024....Mendip Inn.

We take Mark and Lucy out for a meal at the Mendip Inn... neither they, nor we had visited before.....the meal was tasty with huge helpings...

Vegetarian wellington.

Beef roast (5 slices of beef!)

On our way home it rained (!) 

There was a beautiful rainbow, 🌈just like at home....
