This little bug we see some years it's called a Masked Hunter...the immature bug covers itself in sand or dust particles...looks really weird!

22nd July 2023...pictures from our balcony, weekend of the party!
A narrow waisted wasp is filling our gutter with bits of straw... bizarre to see bits of straw/grass up to 10cm long, flying through the air, so I had to investigate!

13th July 2023... The carpark is made bigger!
We were told the work would being at 7am Monday 10th.......the mairie cut the grass Tuesday morning at 7am.
Then finally the digger turned up around 8am and started leveling enlarging and reshaping the parking.

Our road is on the right hand side .
After day one....not sure if it's finished yet?
